I'm originally from Troon, Scotland but I've been based in Glasgow since 1998.

I currently play live music in Waxy O'Connor's, Glasgow every Thursday night continuing as a solo act after many years in there as part of the Mock Turtlenecks.

I play as a duo with Damien Swail (a former Turtleneck), around once a month in Molly Malone's and I'm in the process of co-writing and recording a couple of albums with Maggie Devlin, as Yo Como.

During 2001/2002 I played with a band called Sarcassa but we frustratingly never made a recording of any great quality despite playing many gigs in and around Glasgow and Edinburgh.

I hosted the weekly open mic session Unplugged in Queen Margaret Union, University of Glasgow from 2000 to 2001 with Jerzy Kolodziej (another former Turtleneck).

I'm also interested in sound engineering & production and so I try and record and produce all of my music myself.

A few of my favorite artists are Barenaked Ladies, The Beatles, Ben Folds Five, Coldplay, Dave Matthews Band, Tommy Emmanuel, Fairport Convention, Jack Johnson, Tom McRae, Joni Mitchell, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, The Shins, Simon & Garfunkel and Rufus Wainwright but I am a firm believer in listening to as broad a variety of music as humanly possible. And drinking tea. And malt whisky.
